gearing up for elections
To those who know me, my declaration of my vote in the next assembly election will be received:-
shock,
horror,
don't believe it,
"have you lost your marbles"?
I will be giving my vote to arch enemy TUV. Traditional Ulster Voice
Well known homophobic party. But their attitude to the "pathway to Irish Unity" also known as "Irish-sea-border" is unambiguous and I can relate to it as sharing my own views.
I have blocked the new leader of the UUP on my twitter feed after he questioned my integrity so I don't care anymore what he says on any subject, no UUP will be getting my 2nd or any preference.
Anyway the UUP leader seems all too willing to take politicians from the homophobic DUP for my liking.
Everyone in the DUP who voted against the redefining of marriage in favour of gays, when their own party leader at the time being a man was in public view redefining his marriage with his wife after he appeared on TV telling everyone of his wife's inappropriate affair. The definition of marriage at that time was the Hyde - v- Hyde & Woodmansee case law 1866 "marriage is voluntary union between one man & one woman for life, to the exclusion of all others"
The attitude of the DUP that it's OK for its party leader and other heterosexuals to redefine marriage in their lives but not gays is example of its homophobic hypocrisy.
But I wouldn't Vote for DUP any way since its party and especially its so-called christian Free Presbyterian leader plunged a hatchet into the back of the RUC in June of 1986, attacks on police homes were justified and not to go crying to him when it happened. That leader dead now and sad to think of his soul suffering hell fire and damnation for all eternity.
In the next council election if he stands I will be voting for Philip Smith not because he is in the UUP. I will vote individual, not the party.
But my votes don't usually matter, my vote certainly didn't matter in the brexit referendum
