multi language street signs - in the 21st century

do the British Isles still need street signs?  I raise this question for a few reasons. I can’t recall the last time I relied on a street sign. My car’s display tells me my current street, my sat nav directs me to my destination, and my phone’s map does the same. With public transport moving toward paperless ticketing, carrying a phone is practically essential. In Northern Ireland, dual-language street signs are a contentious issue, often serving as territorial markers and tools of intimidation rather than practical aids.The residents of a street are the least likely to need a sign to identify their own address. If additional languages are deemed necessary on street signs, shouldn’t they reflect the needs of delivery drivers—Chinese for takeaway services, or Polish and Lithuanian for parcel couriers? Why not eliminate street signs entirely or, when they’re needed, allow corporate sponsorship to fund them?

  First blog entry this year I think  A reward of £100 for a small task.  a reward for one special gifted person {a knowledge of Christian theology may help}   From the account of the final judgement of all mankind told by Jesus the Christ in KJV Matthews Gospel Chapter 25 verses 31 to 46 I maintain     the reward is for the first person to convince me that i am wrong in my reading of Matthew 25:verses 31-46  that's it, a simple task,  I mean if it is not a sin at the final Judgement, how can it be a sin today?   I have been a theologian now for more than 40 years . I am still learning from the books of the Bible, every week my appreciation and understanding of God grows, and I know that I shall not ever fully understand God until I am in the presence of God , so I know that I may be missing something from this final judgement account and am willing to pay £100 of my own money to the one who can open my eyes to see what he/she sees, t...

Kamala Harris is the homophobic democratic choice to keep a gay out of the oval office

Any gay voting for Kamala Harris is supporting the homophobia that placed her there  She is not the preferred candidate of Bill Maher, Realtime at HBO. This is not the 1st time that the democratic party has acted so dishonestly . In 2016 it sold the lemon to its supporters that Hillary Clinton was the preferred candidate to Bernie Sanders . Many sanders supports ended up voting for Trump as a protest. Tens and hundreds turned up for Hillary rallies where's tens of thousands turned up for Bernie rallys. It's reward for that dishonesty was a Trump Presidency. Here's hoping their reward for this dishonesty will be a 2nd Trump Presidency  She is not the preferred candidate of Bill Maher, Realtime at HBO.  As Bill Maher pointed out on his show you can count the delegates Kamala Harris got in her run for the presidency in 2020 on one hand as long as that hand has no fingers. She got zero delegates.  bill Maher's choice of candidate in that presidential run got 26 delegates...
